Großer Preis des Mittelstandes
(Grand Prize for German Mittelstand)
With the aim of promoting respect and respect for business responsibility, the Oskar Patzelt Foundation, which has now been awarded the Federal Order of Merit, awards the “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Enterprises” every year.
Although no one is allowed to apply themselves, the competition has established itself over the 20 years of its existence with almost 5,000 nominated companies every year as Germany's most important business prize and the prize as a flagship for the respected brand "Made in Germany".
The twelve competition regions cover all of Germany. A total of 283 outstanding medium-sized companies were nominated for the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region in 2018. These were evaluated by an independent jury based on the categories of overall development of the company, creation and securing of jobs and training positions, innovation and modernization, commitment to the region, customer proximity, service and marketing.
After numerous nominations by the IHK Potsdam and the BVMW Prignitz-Ruppin district association and an award as a finalist in the 2016 competition year, the time had finally come at the awards gala on September 8th, 2018 in Dresden. ASL Automationssysteme Leske GmbH was honored as a prize winner and Andreas Leske was able to accept the “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Enterprises” for his company. So it is probably no coincidence that the motto of the 2018 competition year “Shaping the future” has been a slogan on our website and a lived reality at ASL for years.
AVIERUNDZWANZIG Wirtschaftspreis
(Award A24 Business Prize)
A good five years after the founding of the A24 initiative BRANDENBURGS SPITZE (Brandenburg’s Top Greats ), the new AVIERUNDZWANZIG (A24) business award was awarded for the first time on August 29, 2022. This was organized by the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district, the REG Regionalentwicklungsgesellschaft Nordwestbrandenburg mbH and the Sparkasse Ostprignitz-Ruppin in order to focus on entrepreneurial achievements, innovative strength and entrepreneurial spirit in the north of Brandenburg. Regional commitment, business development and sustainability were defined as the most important award criteria for the 23 applicants in two categories.
During the premiere award ceremony, it was Brandenburg's Minister of Economics, Jörg Steinbach, who opened the first golden envelope and announced the winner in the category: “Companies with more than 30 employees” ASL Automationssysteme Leske from Neuruppin. The patron congratulated his engineer colleague Andreas Leske on on the AVIERUNDZWANZIG.
In awarding the prize to ASL, the jury honoured the company's enormous innovative potential, which has enabled it to achieve exceptional growth. ASL founder and Managing Director Andreas Leske is involved in numerous marketing activities for the A24 region and supports a wide range of social projects at the location.
Leske was visibly surprised and moved. ‘I didn't expect us to win the award. I am very proud of my team, who deserve the prize!’
