Automationssysteme Leske

Driven by the vision of helping to shape new technologies, we develop production systems that not only meet the highest standards of user-friendliness and quality, but are also tailored precisely to the wishes of our clients.

About ASL Automationssysteme Leske GmbH

Compliance with specific quality standards and the exploitation of rationalization potential are essential components of sustainable management system. In the area of industrial value creation, the use of automation technology enables the reproducibility of production processes and thus the efficient use of resources and consistently reliable control of the manufactured products. A fast, functional and cost-effective design of the production mechanisms and the first-class coordination of the technology used to the respective processes and needs is essential for every modern company in order to always be one step ahead in global competition.

The starting point for our development work is a strong understanding of customer thinking and the awareness that every system we deliver must generate positive benefits. Our price and product range is therefore always based on the needs of the respective customer, so that even individual wishes and the smallest details can be taken into account when defining the scope of services. This is achieved through very close cooperation with the future user, short decision-making processes within the company and expanded knowledge of the specific industries among our employees responsible for the project. Since almost every machine we supply is a new development, not only the creativity of our engineers, but also the experience of our specialist fitters, mechatronics engineers and control technicians is a particularly important resource that flows into idea generation and implementation. Modern design and manufacturing equipment also underlines the claim of a technology-oriented company and enables us to manufacture almost all components in-house.

In addition to developing new machines, our specialist knowledge is also used to modify existing systems. The focus is on measures to optimize energy efficiency, shorten cycle times, simplify work processes or improve quality control of the end products.

24-09-2022 Lange Nacht der Wirtschaft (Long Night of Business Event)

For the sixth edition of the Long Night of Business event, we opened our doors to the technology-interested public for the second time.

The motivation for participating was created by managing director Andreas Leske, to create excitement and introduce people to automation. In addition to numerous partners who presented demonstration systems for a wide variety of technologies, the highlights of the evening were a robot dog from the Frauenhofer Institute and the roller coaster simulator specially developed by ASL employees.

In March 2019 we were honored by a visit from our Prime Minister Dr. Ditmar Woidke accompanied by Christian Hirte – State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Federal Government Commissioner for the new federal states. The topic of the visit was “Successful Examples in the Development of Eastern Germany”, about which owner and managing director Andreas Leske had a lot to say with a short speech on the history and development of ASL. After a discussion about current challenges and suggestions to the federal and state governments for shaping future issues, Mr. Woidke was available for a group photo.

08-09-2018 Großer Preis des Mittelstandes (Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Enterprises)

After numerous nominations by the IHK Potsdam and the BVMW Prignitz-Ruppin district association and an award as a finalist in the 2016 competition year, our moment finally came at the awards gala on September 8th, 2018 in Dresden.

ASL Automationssysteme Leske GmbH was honored as a prize winner and Andreas Leske was able to accept the “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Enterprises” for his company. So it is probably no coincidence that the motto of the 2018 competition year “Shaping the future” has been a slogan on our website and a lived reality at ASL for years.

24.09.2016  Lange Nacht der Wirtschaft (Long Night of Business Event)

With our first participation in the Long Night of Business event, our goal was to give the more than six thousand participating interested citizens and professionals of tomorrow insights into technical professions and the activities of our company.

In addition to numerous of our own machines and exhibits, some suppliers and project partners also presented show systems, motorcycles and electric cars. Brandenburg's Economics Minister Albrecht Gerber, Finance Minister Christian Görke, Member of the Bundestag Sebastian Steineke and District Administrator Ralf Reinhardt were particularly impressed by the beer filling machine that our trainees Dean Krogmann and Lars Funk intended as a fun surprise for the boss.

History of the first 15 years

ASL Automationssysteme Leske GmbH started its business in May 2000 with the aim of developing production systems that are tailored precisely to the individual wishes of users. Founder and managing director Andreas Leske has long had the desire to build his own company. When he was able to purchase the basic technical equipment he needed at an auction, Leske took the plunge into becoming self-employed. Supported by the Neuruppin technology and start-up center, the Sparkasse Ostprignitz-Ruppin and his former employer, the entrepreneur began developing customer-specific special machines in Neuruppin's Treskow industrial and commercial area, initially with three employees.

While the first buyers were mainly found in the region, in the following years Leske's team was able to establish itself on the market with the “ASL” brand as a competent partner for tailor-made automation technology. Customers now include many internationally known companies and industry leaders such as B/S/H/, Wirthwein, Miele, BMW, VW or ENGEL, as well as their suppliers.

Today, ASL GmbH employs 29 people and sells Neuruppin mechanical engineering products throughout Germany, Asia, America and many European countries, but still maintains very good business relationships with local companies such as ESE, PAS, and Euromar. “Everyone in Neuruppin now has a device that contains a component that was manufactured with one of our machines,” Leske is certain, and by this he means, for example, the panel or door of your washing machine, the cylinder head cover of your car, or your waste bin on the side of your home or along your street.

In order to continue the positive overall development of the company, the company made the largest investment in the company's history in 2013 and 2014. More than 2 million euros were invested in a new operating facility and the procurement of additional state-of-the-art equipment.
